Since that time the shop has grown from a one-room, one-person operation to a 1500-foot retail space, 3 offices, separate learning center, and a staff of up to eight herbalists, gardeners, and wildcrafters. The six-month herbal apprenticeship has earned wide respect among professional herbalists and herbal educators around the country, who are frequent guest teachers at Misty Meadows throughout the year. The Jr. Herbalist program offers graduates an opportunity to continue their education in a 10-month experience where they learn to think on their feet tending the needs of customers, observe client consultations with the 3 staff herbalists; and receive mentoring in the business aspect of herbal practice. Herbalism is not the only educational opportunity offered. Astrology, numerology, earth-based spirituality, aromatherapy, Reiki, Magnified Healing, Shamballa, Shamanism, Runes, Crystals, Divination are some of the classes taught here. A summer Wellness Fair and Holiday Playshops are some of the special events offered. We follow the Pagan wheel of the year and offer public rituals, welcoming all traditions to come and share this beautiful and sacred land. Experience the Magic of Misty Meadows Soon!
